Test Division We are the only test facility in the Southwest designed specifically to test both small and large synthetic fiber ropes. Test Frame: length is 80 ft. with a total of 16'4" of stroke.
Maximum Capacity: 780,000 lbs. fiber and wire rope break testing. Data Acquisition and control: LabView software. Automatic Testing: tension-to-tension fatigue cycling. Loads over 65,000 lbs. up to 19"/min., loads up to 65,000 lbs. up to 30"/min. Wet and dry cycling. Proof Loading: rope, wire, web, or round slings up to 220 ft. in length and up to 400,000 lbs. loads. Slings up to 85 ft. can be proof loaded up to 780,000 lbs. Small Test Frame: small diameter spliceable and non-spliceable rope. Frame is 9 ft. long with 3 ft. stroke up to 15,000 lbs.
