SWOS provided the towlines for the towout of the Magnolia TLP for ConocoPhillips. These lines, made from Dyneema fiber rope, were used for the inshore tow from the shipyard in Ingleside, Texas to the Gulf of Mexico. Once in the Gulf of Mexico, 4 tugs were utilized for the offshore portion of the tow, using the same Dyneema ropes for towing and for the station keeping during commissioning.
