WINCH LINES
High Modulus synthetic ropes have proven reliability while significantly reducing the cost operations in towing, mooring, installation of subsea equipment, and other offshore applications. |
LIFTING SLINGS
Southwest Ocean Services, Inc. designs and fabricates heavy lift slings utilizing a wide variety of fibers and rope constructions. |
|
RIG BARRIER NETS
They are designed to engage and repel large debris and typical offshore supply vessels away from the risers. The horizontal and vertical ropes of the net are made of low stretch, light weight Dyneema (HMPE) and are made to resist excessive motion and subsequent damage from wave action.
 |
 |
Nets are designed to allow the replacement of a section of the net in the field, ideally using the platform cranes or winches. |
| Foundations for mounting the nets and for holding tensioners are built into the unit. The ropes are designed to break before the hull structure Is damaged. |
