SUPPLY VESSEL
MOORING SYSTEMS
When weather conditions are too bad to lay alongside a platform, supply boats tie up by the stern under the crane for loading and offloading. |
WINCH LINES
High Modulus synthetic ropes have proven reliability while significantly reducing the cost operations in towing, mooring, installation of subsea equipment, and other offshore applications. |

WINCH LINES
Traditional marine engineering holds that wire rope is the preferred line for use on winches. Unfortunately, these very heavy strength members greatly increase handling and safety problems. Working at ultra deep depths places even greater loads on decks and increases size and power requirements for the winch itself. High Modulus synthetic ropes have proven reliability while significantly reducing the operating costs riser pull-in which lines, buoy retrieval lines, and other offshore applications. Size for Size, many of these synthetic ropes offers the same or greater strengths with 1/7 of the weight of steel ropes.
